your contribution counts
According to a World Bank report from 2021, due to limited education and employment opportunities, about three out of every ten young people in the Caribbean are not in school, employed, or being trained. Limited access to the internet, books, proper spaces to work were cited as major contributors to this issue.
Since 2017, The Centre for Ocean Research and Education is bridging that gap by providing hands-on, geographically relevant, marine educational opportunities to students in the Bahamas, and we will soon expand our reach to Panama.
Donations and gifts to our organisation will directly contribute to fostering the next generation of environmental leaders through the provision of resources critical in developing research, education and outreach engagements.
Your support will cultivate and inspire a passionate community of students and citizen scientists dedicated to driving positive change in the preservation of our wild spaces.
