For visiting education groups wishing to engage in meaningful, immersive environmental learning on the island of Eleuthera, we offer small, personalised services to ensure that your education goals are met. We incorporate students into our research projects for hand-crafted learning experiences, including residential marine science programs. Our community education centre is located in the heart of the rural community of Gregory Town, and we provide the following:

With over 15 years of experience in marine research, education and outreach and six years on the island of Eleuthera, The Centre for Ocean Research and Education is at the forefront of community education and capacity building in north Eleuthera. 

Our education programs embrace the outdoors and promote the ecological significance and consequent conservation value of both marine and terrestrial ecosystems. Our approach is to immerse young people in practical, experiential science learning that promotes conservation of our environment, and the biological systems supported by it.
