CORE has been making waves in the communities of Eleuthera for almost two years now, and involving citizens in this research process. Providing opportunities to learn about the environment has never been more important. Here, we explore some of our educational reach and impacts.

The Centre for Ocean Research and Education conducts applied marine research with conservation outcomes on the island of Eleuthera in The Bahamas. Here, we showcase some of our current collaborative efforts and projects highlighting the need for a greater understanding of wild marine spaces here, and among other islands throughout the region.

We have been providing a series of FREE swim classes and water safety skills for young Bahamians between the ages of 4 and 13 yrs, twice a week right here in Gregory Town, Eleuthera, The Bahamas!
